Sponsor a Rescue
By becoming a sponsor, you help provide the food, care, rehabilitation and support a rescue horse needs to feel safe again. Your contribution helps turn rescue into recovery and gives each horse the chance to heal, rebuild trust and enjoy a better life.
Choose a horse whose story speaks to you and become part of their journey.
What does sponsorship mean?
Learn to care for a horse
With the horse you sponsor, you can learn everything from the basics of groundwork and daily care to training, riding and carriage driving. Every activity is tailored to both the horse and the individual.
Which horses can I sponsor?
All horses in the programme are available for sponsorship. You can choose the horse you connect with best and from whom you feel you can learn the most. Of course, you will still be able to meet, spend time with and learn from all the horses, not only the one you sponsor.
Sponsor a horse in rehabilitation
By becoming a sponsor, you help cover part of the cost of the horse’s care, equipment and feed. Your support helps the horse find peace and enjoy a full and happy life.
A new chance at life
You will give a rescued horse a new chance to enjoy the safe and carefree life they deserve.
Horses in the program
Thais (Thais) has changed homes many times. She was labelled as difficult and also suffers from chronic problems with her front legs caused by excessive strain in the past.
We were only able to partially rehabilitate her legs, but today Thais is a completely different mare.
She is exceptionally friendly, gentle and suitable for beginners. She loves being groomed, spending time in water, going on peaceful walks and doing light work with a rider. She is one of those mares whose presence alone has a calming effect.
By sponsoring Thais, you can help her enjoy a happy and active life despite her limitations.
Dandy is a Westphalian horse who came to us because, despite her best intentions, his owner could no longer find a way to help him. Due to severe hoof damage caused by laminitis, he had effectively been given a death sentence.
Today, Dandy is alive, walking, moving freely and enjoying life.
His recovery has not been easy, and he still requires specialised care, supplements and carefully adapted exercise. He is living proof that sometimes a horse does not need a miracle, but time, knowledge and someone who refuses to give up.
By sponsoring Dandy, you directly support his second chance at life.
Rocky is a friendly yet demanding horse. He arrived extremely aggressive and prone to attacking due to pain, old injuries and a difficult past. His previous owner had been told that he was suitable as a school horse, but in reality his pain made him dangerous.
Wanting only the best for him, she gave him another chance—with us.
After extensive rehabilitation, Rocky is now a completely different horse. He has become an excellent teacher, is very confident out on trails and loves jumping obstacles. He still requires a great deal of understanding, but in return he gives us an incredible amount of affection.
Sponsorship helps him maintain this balance.
Bonita is our only representative of the Mangalarga Marchador breed. She was rescued when she was close to death. She later ended up at a riding school, where she gave everything she had until it became too much for her. Frequent epileptic seizures began to threaten her life.
Her owners wanted her to enjoy a peaceful but still active retirement, and that is how she came to us. She is a gentle and friendly mare who can finally live at a pace that suits her. She has also found her soulmate, Labris. However, she will always need adapted care and a calm environment to help prevent the seizures from returning.
Sponsorship helps ensure that this sense of peace can remain part of her everyday life.
Blisk (Siglavy Betalka) was once a riding-school horse. The demands of a typical riding school became too much for him. Because of back pain, he began biting and kicking while being saddled, which meant he was no longer suitable for riding school work.
But once he moved to our herd in a pasture environment, he began to thrive. He loves trail rides, has settled well into the herd and is slowly learning to trust people again.
His rehabilitation is still ongoing, and he needs your support to continue his recovery.
Tabaluga (Favory Slavina) is a retired carriage horse who can no longer cope with the strain of intensive work. He has problems with his legs and therefore needs additional support, supplements and a carefully adapted routine.
With us, he has found a home where he can enjoy a peaceful retirement, with gentle exercise, plenty of attention and a herd around him.
By sponsoring Tabaluga, you help provide him with a dignified and peaceful old age, as well as the high-quality feed he still needs to reach and maintain a healthy body weight.
Stasi (Maestoso Gaetana) had been labelled crazy and useless. Through training, he suffered further serious injuries that only made his behavior worse.
At first, he attacked me. I was saved by luck and by another horse.
But then Stasi realised that he no longer needed to defend himself.
Today, he is one of our calmest, most reliable and versatile horses, a true schoolmaster for both dressage and the fundamentals of jumping.
By sponsoring Stasi, you support a horse who overcame his own fears.
Talko (Maestoso Betalka) came to us after being written off. He was in poor physical and psychological condition, frightened and difficult to handle.
Today, he is an excellent dressage horse.
Every day, he shows us just how gentle, reliable and friendly he truly is.
He is excellent out on trails and incredibly patient when teaching both beginners and advanced riders.
By sponsoring Talko, you support one of the most remarkable transformations.
Casper (Maestoso Lipica) was simply too much for everyone: too fast, too nervous and too demanding.
Yet these are the very qualities that make him such an exceptional horse, full of life and energy, when handled correctly.
He is an excellent jumper, progresses quickly in dressage and is always gentle with people.
Sponsorship gives him the opportunity to channel his energy in a positive way.
Choko (Conversano Thais) came to us with serious hoof problems. Laminitis caused him considerable pain, which also led to behavioural difficulties.
At first, he was difficult to handle, pulled on the lead and was afraid of the saddle.
Then he began making remarkably fast progress.
Today, he excels in both dressage and jumping. He moves beautifully, has enormous patience and responds best to gentle, considerate handling.
Sponsorship helps us protect his hoof health and continue providing him with careful, high-quality training.
Lino (Maestoso Samira) arrived together with Čoko and also suffered from hoof problems.
He was afraid of the saddle, being ridden and everything associated with it.
Today, he is a reliable and gentle horse out on trails, and he has also shown great potential for jumping.
He is one of those gentle souls who will do anything for a kind word.
However, he has a severe sensitivity to sunlight. Every summer, his skin therefore requires regular care with specialised products, as well as a protective mask that shields him from UV rays.
Sponsorship gives him the sense of safety he still needs.
