Our Friends

California Donkey and Mule Association CADAMA's objectives are to enjoy, learn about, and promote our longeared friends. We have members all over California, although most of our activities occur in Northern and Central California. We put on shows and playdays that include all equines: Classes for donkeys, mules, horses, ponies, zebras, and all hybrids.

Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue provides a safe and loving environment to abused, neglected and unwanted domestic donkeys. They with owners worldwide on the proper care and treatment of their donkeys and educate the public on the history, usefulness and personality of these wonderful creatures.

Wild Burro Rescue provides an alternative to shooting by rescuing, rehabilitating and providing permanent sanctuary to otherwise doomed wild burros. During March 1995, Wild Burro Rescue conducted a successful live capture that convinced the National Park Service to suspend their shooting policy at Death Valley National Park.
