Sierra

History: Born from 1999 capture, victim of abuse and
neglect.
Date of Arrival: 4/20/03
Goal: Overcome extreme fear of equipment and humans.
Progress Report : Sierra can be haltered and lead. She is
making great progress being handled, and having her feet worked
with too! We're so proud of her!
Status: Permanent resident of Horsefriends Large

Celeste
Age: 4
Gender: female
History: Born from 1999 capture, victim of abuse and
neglect.
Date of Arrival: 4/20/03
Goal: Overcome extreme fear of equipment and humans
Progress Report : Celeste is still very shy, but is
making progress. She is starting to let us work on her feet. She
is the most cautious of the three, but as Sierra and Sage gain
confidence Celeste does too.

Age: 7 (approximate)
Gender: female
History: 1999 capture, victim of abuse and neglect.
Date of Arrival: 4/20/03
Goal: Overcome extreme fear of equipment and humans.
Progress Report : Sage is getting more confident by the
day. She is now comfortable being brushed and having her feet
cleaned. She is still shy around strangers, but comes around
quickly for treats and attention.
